How I work
I'm Stanley — a software engineer who ships production systems for banking and fintech. At Diamond Trust Bank Kenya, I lead frontend development for customer-facing banking portals and own a slice of the production support rotation for live systems handling thousands of daily transactions.
My sweet spot is the intersection of UI performance and system reliability: turning complex requirements into fast, accessible interfaces that don't break under real-world load. Underneath that, I've shipped Spring Boot and Node.js services, maintained WordPress estates, and spent enough time on-call to care deeply about structured logging, distributed tracing, and runbooks that actually work.
Before DTB, I freelanced for nine months — that's where the Spending Tracker was born. These days I'm most interested in roles that mix product thinking with frontend depth, ideally where observability and reliability are first-class citizens of the engineering culture.

- Designed, developed, and maintained frontend-heavy enterprise web apps in React.js, with a focus on usability, responsiveness, and performance.
